Students will get to know theories on cultures and intercultural communication and understand the historical genesis of communication differences. The students perceive cultural differences in communication for concrete situations and can reflect, adapt and optimize their own personal behaviour. Students are capable to cope with cultural diversity in given communication settings with focus on business related situations.

This course will provide you with important information about how to apply successfully on the German job market.

Instructions will be provided on how to design and structure a Curriculum Vitae, an application and how to prepare for an interview.

Moreover, career related workshops and events will be published. 

By completing this course, students will be able to solve using MATLAB/Simulink or Python

They will understand programming paradigms as object-oriented programming and know how to code scripts, functions, classes and GUIs in MATLAB or Python.

In the second part of this part they will learn how to develop simulations of dynamic systems. We will use Simulink to solve problems defined by ODEs as well as SimScape in a physical modeling application.

This German test determines your language level and facilitates a placement in the right lecture. The test takes place in multiply choice format. 

The test will be automatically submitted after 35 minutes. 

Please do not peek, remember that it is not worth it, or you will get a wrong classification of your German level.
